Sheryl learned how to play guitar and bass. Her family had three pianos in their home. When Sheryl was in school she was involved in the choir plus she played sports and even did some school plays.
She graduated in 1994 from the University of Missouri, she was a music education major.
Sheryl became an elementary school teacher until she decided to move to L.A to pursue a musical career. In 1993 her first album was released it was titled Tuesday Night Music Club.
At first the album did not do very well until the song All I wanna do was released. Then the album got more attention and soon the album came a hit. It sold over 7 million copies.
IN 1996, came her next album the popular self-titled CD debuted at number 6 here in the U.S. In between touring and recording her next album came out in 1998 titled the Globe Sessions.
Her next venture was titled Sheryl Crow and Friends in Central Park; this was from a concert that was recorded in Central Park.
Sheryl’s latest album, titled Wildflower cam out in 2005. Sheryl was most recently linked to Tour De France Winner Lance Armstrong but they broke up in early 2006.
Sheryl was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She is doing well and is recovering nicely.
